In den Monitoren sind wild zappelnde, wasserspritzende und um Luft ringende Karpfen zu sehen.
In Asien werden lebende Fische häufig in Transportkisten, die mit Holzwolle gefüllt sind,
transportiert. Die Tiere fallen durch die Reibung mit dem trockenen und spröden Material in eine
Schockstarre und können beim Erreichen des Zielortes mit ein wenig Wasser wieder zu alter
Frische erweckt werden.

The monitors show carp wriggling wildly, splashing water and struggling for air.
In Asia, live fish are often transported in crates filled with wood shavings. Friction with the dry and brittle material causes the animals to fall into a state of shock. They can be awakened to their former freshness with a little water when they reach their destination.
